Design Questions
Do I need to visit IKEA first?
No — we can measure, plan, and design everything for you using IKEA’s tools.
Can you help if I’ve already started a planner layout?
Yes — we can review, adjust, or rebuild your layout to make sure it fits your space.
Do you design kitchens?
We don’t design or fit kitchens — but we can help with freestanding kitchen furniture like tables, chairs, and storage units. For full kitchen design, we recommend IKEA’s in-store service.
Do you charge for design?
No — design is included at no extra cost when we’re also doing the assembly or install. If you’re only booking design, we’ll quote based on the scope.
Assembly Questions
Do I need to supply any tools?
No — we bring everything we need to get the job done.
Do I need to do anything before assembly day?
Yes — please make sure the furniture is in the right room and there’s enough space to work.
Do you take away the packaging?
Sorry, we’re not licensed to dispose of packaging — but we’ll flatten it all and leave it ready for recycling.
What if parts are missing or damaged?
We’ll help identify the issue so you can report it to IKEA. If it’s the only item booked and we need to reschedule, there’s a £35 fee to cover our time.
Do I get charged if I cancel?
No charge if you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice. Less than that, and there’s a £50 cancellation fee.
How do I pay?
We accept cash, card, or bank transfer on completion. Sorry — NO bananas.
Does your quote include parking charges?
No — we’ll add the parking charge to your invoice on completion. We only charge what we’ve paid to park.
Do you fix furniture to walls?
Yes — we install fitted systems like PAX and PLATSA securely and safely.
Can you cut panels or adjust for ceiling height?
We don’t offer cutting or joinery — but we do make practical cuts in back panels for sockets and cables where needed. We install IKEA systems as designed, and we’ll help you choose layouts that work with your space.
Do you install kitchens?
We don’t install kitchens — but we do assemble kitchen furniture like tables, chairs, and freestanding storage. Full kitchen fitting is outside our scope.
Still Not Sure?
